In her article L’interminable saga des frais accessoires published in the Huffington Post, Amélie Quesnel-Vallée describes how Quebec finally arrived to adopt the federal legislation abolishing accessory fees. Several doctors have already spoken against the new legislation and announced their intention to leave the public health care system. However, the provincial government will have to work hard to make sure that the new guidelines are respected and that the quality and quantity of services are not negatively affected by it.
